Its Time to Find You!
Hello dears....
How you all going on??
Just keep sane....and breathe...
I myself has been going through many phases...that I'm filled with mixed feelings and Emotions.
Recently had a chance to attend an important meeting Conducted by TMA(Thrissur management Association) which was conducted in Thrissur itself....
Never in my dreams I have thought I could go for this program....
It was Such an amazing function...
"Women in Business Conclave" was the quote of their function...
And the topic was "Break the Bias".
There were Eminent personalities and Well renowned persons in that function...
The program had Power Speakers, and numerous other Panellists....
Even though its about Women... Men also were present...
I would like to Share some views on some important personalities that just inspired me alot...
The Master of the Ceremony was Ms.Divya Ramanan, RJ Smrithi of Club FM.
At first we had Ms.Sheila Mathai from the Indian Navy
She spoke how she began her journey..
How she found a good support team.
How to generate Team-willing exercise.
She pointed out that every other mother should teach their kids equal involvement of male and female... for example in kitchen, or in other house chores...
Then we had Ms.Rekha Shetty's Online live talk.
She talked about the objective of TMA
and how we can change our mindset.. she also spoke about women's ability to take a directory and responsibility .
Every woman should be encouraged and should be given the ability to get employed. She said it is better that when we have clear policies in organisations and less ambiguity in organisation so we could have a good atmosphere for the women to work.
Next we had talk from Murali Ramakrishnan who is from South Indian Bank.
He discussed how to harvest equal importance for women and he spoke about the diversity and appreciation that should be given for every genders. He also added that women should be given more empowerment and also women are very good in management in an organisation and in keeping values too.
He discussed about according to their research some women are guilty conscious for the decisions they make because they are not able to select wisely from between their family life and career. So he gave guidance on three aspects :
1)To prioritise work: Train the young minds of equality especially women tend to deny promotion because they are scared that they would be moved from their family. But, they should be given advice that they need to take risk to get to great heights.
2) Delegation: Women should take courage to delegate their works at home to men. Alone they do work perfectly but together they are not able to delegate it. Now, the women should let them work together ,to do better with better delegation.
3) Compromise: Why women tend to compromise their career for the family? This should be changed in both mindset of men and women.
After that we had a class from MS Sunita Cherian.
She spoke about being flexible in the organisation and invest in the organisation to empower women to make policies to keep the women in the company. She said if the woman works well but unfortunately she get pregnant,if we neglect her ....then we loose talented person... Why should we leave that women?? So instead of that, the companies should change their policies to keep the best working women with flexible rules and giving women to work well. Improve the technology to keep the women safe. She also spoke about the empowerment and let the woman come back after so many years of their family life, let them get on the top more, because when it comes to top hierarchy there are more more men than women. So let's include two inclusivity and give safe space for the women's for maintaining a good competition with the men.
Then there was a panel discussion was conducted by many other personalities.
There was another session about discussing the mental and emotional aspects of a woman.
It was taken by Dr.Shylaja Ramkumar,Sr. psychologist
She was very informative and also talked about how a woman should be very assertive to their seniors. How they can keep a passive aggression during when they have stress . And how we can be flexible in workspace .
And she told to take care of a physical well being because unless we are not fit and well we won't be able to take care of a family and she said that now and then we should ventilate our frustration because if we are taking care of ourselves only then we will be able to work and perform well in the organisation.
After that we have chat session with Lakshmi Menon and Divya Ramanan.
It was very nice to hear how Lakshmi Menon wanted to help and give social assistance to society.
Then we had class from MS.Reshma Sebastian who is an influencer ,Mother,a model and an engineer she spoke about digital marketing how she said how we could take a business to the digital marketing through e commerce, travel and hospitality and education and health. She is a great influencer and she was very clear that when we make a content we should be very clear and we should take that content to the right people and find the right people and also investing in sales and conversion explain how in specific page contents we should be super captivating and also how we do the service and process is much important. She also told that we should learn and explore and work with different types of creators and contents and understand 'what works better' and give a first trial and error method such as barter system and understand what kind of people get reach to our products then we expand in the economical way.
Then we had a session -Flavours of thissur
In that ,there was:
MS Sheeba Ammeer - who was the founder of SOLACE
Dr Elvarasy Jayakanth- the founder of Aswathy chips.
Ms. Aadya K. Raj- who is the CEO of Myplasticpays
After that there was award functions and also small discussions were left.
Overall for me this program was very inspiring...and I understand that we should break the shell and come out and stand for The individual thats within you.
And we should take care of ourselves.
We should be inspiring our kids the coming little generation of boys and girls and teach them that women and men are equal they should be given equal ratio wherever they go.
With that I conclude my review on this program.
Well it was very inspiring and I am not talking about women only, but also, the men, should also give importance to women...Coz women are very competitive and have great management skills, great commitments to work very well like you.
Of course if the mother goes outside for few hours leaving the kids with their father or anybody the house goes down!!
So if they could manage all of this chaos.... then, surely they can control, lead, manage and commit to the work they do...
Why should we care what others say?..so just go for our Dreams....
Thank you all for reading this article... For all the support you have given and I also feel very happy to share my experience with you..π
impressive.... keep it up....
